Dan Rowe grew up cutting grass on his father's acreage outside Beaumont. When he bought his first Edmonton house, he went through three landscapers in a single season — the second stopped answering the phone in July.
The work was never the hard part. Finding someone who showed up on the day they promised, for the price they quoted — that was. So in 2014 he bought a mower, printed 300 flyers in Riverbend, and started building the company he had been trying to hire.
Twelve seasons on, Summit runs five crews, a shop off 101 Street and a snow fleet that works all winter. Dan still walks every design consultation himself and prices every hardscape job personally — because the rule he started with has not moved.
