Sod, when you want it now
Green the same day, usable in about three weeks. Best for front yards and smaller spaces.
Hydroseeding & Sod
New lawns from scratch — instant sod or cost-effective hydroseed, graded properly first.
Overview
Most failed lawns fail before a single seed goes down, because nobody fixed the grade or the soil first. We strip, grade away from the house, bring in screened black loam, and only then decide whether sod or hydroseed is the better call for your property and budget.
What is included

A sprayed slurry of seed, mulch and tackifier. Germinates in 7–14 days, fully filled in by week eight.
Water has to run away from your house. We fix that before anything green goes down.
We hydroseed everything from a 400 sq ft side yard to full acreage properties.

Questions
Sod if you need it to look finished immediately or the area is small. Hydroseed if the area is large, since it runs about half the cost and the resulting root system is often deeper because it establishes in place.
Sod: about three weeks, once it has knitted to the soil. Hydroseed: after the first mow, usually around week five.
A new lawn needs light watering two to three times a day for the first two weeks. We leave you a printed schedule, and it is the one thing that decides whether the lawn takes.
