When do you come out after a snowfall?
Crews roll once accumulation hits 5cm. Residential properties are cleared before 7am; during a heavy multi-day storm we run continuous rotations and return as the snow keeps falling.
Is a seasonal contract worth it over per-push?
In an average Edmonton winter the seasonal rate works out slightly cheaper, and in a heavy one it is a lot cheaper. The bigger reason people choose it is that they never have to think about it.
Do you damage driveways or lawns?
Shoes on the blades keep us off the surface, and we stake the edges of every property in October so the operator can see where the driveway ends under fresh snow.
