Questions we get every week.

Pricing, scheduling, coverage and how we actually work. If yours is not here, call the shop — we would rather answer it than have you guess.

General

About working with us.

Is professional landscaping actually worth the money?

For maintenance, the honest answer is that it buys back time — roughly 90 minutes a week for a typical lot, every week, from May to September. For build work the case is financial: a well-built patio or a properly graded, healthy lawn is one of the few exterior improvements that still shows in an appraisal a decade later. A badly built one is a liability, which is why base spec matters more than which paver you pick.

What services do you offer?

Eleven, covering the full year: lawn mowing and maintenance, fertilization and weed control, garden bed care and weeding, hydroseeding and sod, hardscaping and paving stone, landscape design and build, irrigation, tree and shrub care, spring and fall cleanups, snow and ice management, and commercial grounds care.

Do you warranty your work?

Yes. Hardscape builds carry a five-year workmanship warranty against settling and joint separation. Plant material is warrantied for one full growing season. Sod and hydroseed are guaranteed to establish provided the watering schedule we leave with you is followed. Full terms are on our guarantee page.

Are you licensed and insured?

Municipally licensed, carrying $5 million in commercial general liability, and WCB Alberta coverage in good standing. Certificates are issued with every commercial contract and available to any homeowner who asks.

Who are your typical clients?

About two-thirds are Edmonton homeowners on seasonal maintenance or a design-build project. The rest are condo corporations, property managers and commercial sites on year-round contracts — several holding six to twenty properties under one agreement.

What payment methods do you take?

Monthly contracts run automatically on a credit card or pre-authorised debit. Project work is 30% at booking with the balance due on completion. Commercial accounts are net 30. We take e-transfer, cheque and all major cards.

Do you offer financing on larger projects?

Yes, on larger builds, through a third-party lender with terms from 24 to 84 months. Approval usually comes back the same day, and there is no penalty for paying it out early.

How do I know if you service my area?

We cover Edmonton and the surrounding region — St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Beaumont, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan — plus most communities within about 45 minutes of the city. If you are not sure, call and ask; we will tell you straight rather than take a job we cannot service properly.

Scheduling

Timing and booking.

How fast will I hear back?

Within one business day, and usually the same afternoon. Weekend requests are answered Monday morning. Snow and emergency calls are answered seven days a week through winter.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. Estimates and site visits are free and the written price holds for 30 days. Landscape design is the one exception, since it produces a scaled plan you own outright — and that fee is credited back if you build with us.

Can you quote without visiting?

For lawn care, fertilization, cleanups and snow — yes. Send the address and a few photos. Hardscape, design and irrigation need someone on site to check grade, access and drainage.

What happens if it rains on my service day?

We move you to the next dry day and text you the change. You are never billed for a visit that did not happen.

Do I need to be home?

No. As long as the gate is unlocked and pets are inside, we let ourselves in and text you when the crew leaves.
