Decks
Ground-level or raised, framed properly and flashed where it meets the house.
Outdoor Carpentry
Decks, pergolas, fences and privacy screens built to match the yard, not fight it.
Overview
Stone handles the ground. Everything above it is carpentry — the deck you step out onto, the pergola that makes the patio usable at noon, the fence that finally hides the neighbour's trailer. We build on site in cedar, treated or composite, framed to code and detailed so the fasteners are not the first thing you notice.

Questions
Cedar looks better and costs less up front, but wants a coat every two or three years. Composite costs more and asks for nothing. We quote both and let you pick.
In Edmonton, generally yes once it sits over 0.6m above grade or attaches to the house. We pull it as part of the job.
Usually. Send a photo of what is there and we will tell you honestly whether matching it or replacing it looks better.
