Cedar or composite?
Cedar looks better and costs less up front, but wants a coat every two or three years. Composite costs more and asks for nothing. We quote both and let you pick.
Do I need a permit for a deck?
In Edmonton, generally yes once it sits over 0.6m above grade or attaches to the house. We pull it as part of the job.
Can you match existing work?
Usually. Send a photo of what is there and we will tell you honestly whether matching it or replacing it looks better.
